One of the original "Butters Gallery artists", David Geiser has been captivating
Oregonians with his paintings for over 17 years. Geiser's rough but refined
signature style is unique and relentless. Not for the meek, these works are
passionate and exuberant expressions of body, mind, and spirit while remaining
obliquely abstract. Working within his repertoire of textures and colors Geiser
creates works that inspire one to dive in and explore the slippery pools of
varnish juxtaposed with the dense powdery fields and burnished passages of
gold or copper.
